New In GREEDY v1.7
Six features have been added in this version.
1. Direct support for Opus 1.7x dropfile ( LASTUSxx.DAT ) has been added.
It may also work for the Opus 1.1x format without translation, but
this has yet to be tested. If not, try the LASTREAD converter.
2. Support for RBBS's version of the DORINFOx.DEF file. Seems this version
has a different idea of what codes represent the user's graphics choice.
With QBBS/RA, it is 0=no graphics, 1=ANSI, 3=Avatar, while RBBS uses
0=no ANSI or high-ASCII, 1=no ANSI, 2=ANSI.
3. Players now have control over how much time elapses between the
computer's comments and his next action ( re-rolling, passing, etc. )
via the new "Delay Speed" control bar. Putting the indicator at the
left-most position will suppress most of the computer's comments.
4. The companion terminal interface ( GIFT ) version 1.7 is included, and
supports the mouse knowing where to look for the "Delay Speed" bar
controls. It also will run in EGA graphics modes for a better look.
5. Players who quit while the computer is winning ( w/over 7,500 points )
now face losing 10,000 points from their Total Score. Seems there has
been some cheating going on, and a few sysops have requested this
change. The computer will warn the player of the consequences of
quitting - if the computer is ahead, and has over 7,500 points - and
allow the player to change his/her mind.
6. Now you can run Greedy with EGA graphics! Just call the EGREEDY.EXE
program in your batch file instead of GREEDY.EXE. You must retain the
latter file in the same subdirectory for your remote callers, however.
Please read the section "GREEDY in EGA Graphics Mode" in the
GRSYSOP.DOC file for more info, and examples on how your new batch
file should work.

New In GREEDY v1.3
This version only corrects a bug in the Hall-of-Fame logic for the end
of the year processing.

New In GREEDY v1.2
Three new features have been added to this version.
1. Due to the inability of Greedy to recognise the GIFT interface
terminal's handshaking response on some - but not all - boards, I've
added an item to Greedy's opening menu to force Greedy into talking to
it's terminal I/F. Selection "4" is now a toggle to turn on or off this
feature. This may only be required for boards using the BNU FOSSIL. (?)
2. If you are playing in LOCAL mode, Greedy now checks for a mouse. If you
have one installed, it will use it. Keyboard input is still accepted if
you feel more comfortable using it. Toggle the mouse on/off with Alt-M.
3. Greedy's InterFace Terminal v1.2 also supports the remote caller's
mouse, and this version of Greedy understands the mouse signals for
selecting dice and other responses when coming from GIFT.
